Welcome to IMC SoCal!

We’re the local Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants USA, which is a member of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes.

We train individuals in a wide array of specialties who provide consulting services to managers. Most members are independent consultants, but many others are members of consulting firms, internal consultants in corporations, students, or professionals who have an interest in the management consulting profession and support the objectives of the Institute. Our training is in the common skills needed by such consultants: sales, marketing, administration, ethics, and a variety of other topics.

IMC USA awards the designation “Certified Management Consultant” (CMC) to qualified professionals. This certification is recognized in more than 40 other countries around the world. It states that the holder has proven training in his or her specialty, knowledge of the consulting process, and favorable references from clients, and adheres to and thoroughly understands IMC’s code of ethics.

The Southern California Chapter of IMC holds regular dinner and breakfast meetings where you can meet your peers, both to get educated and to build business relationships. We have numerous committees which allow you to demonstrate your capabilities as well as enhance the organization and your profession.

Hence our motto is: “Get smart! Get known! Get business!”
