Afternoon Session:
Virtual Teams - Working in the Networked Economy

You can enhance your consulting practice by learning to use proven tools and techniques to become an effective virtual team leader. On January 20, participate in an interactive workshop that focuses on leading practices in virtual teamwork. Talk to an expert about your real-life business challenges with virtual teams and strategies on how to overcome them. In this session, you will also increase your ability to serve as a successful virtual facilitator and enhance virtual team performance within your client organizations.

Now that advanced communication and information technologies enable virtual collaboration within and across organizations, many of today's largest corporations are turning to virtual teams to maintain their competitive edge. Creating high-performing virtual teams, however, still remains a mystery to many business leaders and is now creating consulting opportunities. In our afternoon session, Dr. Jeremy Lurey will review the critical success factors for designing and supporting effective virtual teams.

What does it take to turn a "star" into a "superstar" in consulting? It's not just your technical knowledge or the quality of your professional work, but the style and communication skills which true superstars possess.
